Everything was fantastic. We arrived late after being extremely disappointed with another hotel very near this wonderful place and the staff couldn’t have been nicer and more welcoming. A really really nice experience. I can’t remember the gentleman’s name who was on the desk on the night but he is an absolute credit to your hotel!

Beautiful, lively city with a great choice of cultural...
Beautiful, lively city with a great choice of cultural attractions (we went to the National Gallery of Ireland and a concert at the NCH. Both wonderful.) Plenty of pubs cafes and restaurants enhanced our experience of the city. We also enjoyed the park, Trinity College and generally walking around. Hoping to return.

To be honest, I was quiet disapointed.
To be honest, I was quiet disapointed. Crowded centre full of tourists, junkies, homeless and immigrants. Palestine flag on every corner. I didn't feel safe in the evening, not even in the side streets. We lived in the centre, so we didn't need any public transport (traffic jam every afternoon). Nice parks (St Stephens Green) and museums. Great pubs with kind local staff.

NOT GOING TO LIE....
NOT GOING TO LIE.... I went for the Guinness. we didnt really do anything touristieeeee... we went to the gardens and walked around and just enjoyed Dublin in that way and our experience was great. we was here for the live music and BOY it didnt disappoint. I mean the Guinness is expensive AF. but worth it for the whole experience. we got on the plane for 40mins, jumped off got the LOCAL bus which is £2 pp all way into Dublin and guess where its drops you of????? ONLY OUTSIDE A CHEEKY WETHERSPOONS!! OI OIIIIIIIII. even though they dont sell Guinness obvs coz it would be miles cheaper the food and drinks are greatly priced. We spent the night in live bars which I couldn't stop staring BEST EVER. we then ended up in 'abra kababra' - think that's how you spell it - anyway, we not have it in England or where im from so we went in because every time I seen one I was like 'gonna reach out and grab ya. IYKYK..... its OK... nothing special. on way back to the airport we couldn't find buss ITS CASH ONLY SO BE WARE!!!! but a lovely Irish bus man said if we didnt have change he would just let us on as we didnt know where cash machine was and it charges you.. but we got it in the end. I would defo come back just not when our stay cost us £180 now its £580 WTAF.. someones on crack. BTW THE ONLY PIC IT WILL LET ME UPLOAD IS THE WETHERSPOONS.. THANK ME LATER HAHAH

Interesting and tourist friendly.
Interesting and tourist friendly. Good selection of pubs and restaurants.
Pavements not very friendly to the aged. I saw a few people fall into the street because the edge of the pavement is not clear / clearly demarcated. Otherwise, pavements are smooth and well maintained.
We enjoyed our stay in Dublin, the stuff was friendly and helpful.
The location is good, close enough to the city centre and main attractions. Calm street with pub options nearby.
The closest Lidl I would recommend to avoid, but the one across the bridge is just perfect if you wish to buy local cheese, some wine and etc.
It was really nice to have a kitchen with all facilities that can help to recharge after the day in the city.
We're satisfied with the stay, and I'll keep my eye on this hotel chain around the world.
It was perfect for our needs.
We are visiting different family members around the county of Dublin so it was perfect for accessing all locations by public transportation. The tram "Luas" stop was right outside.
It was a fully fitted apartment in the size of a hotel room. It is a "Smart" hotel and room. The floor in the bathroom was heated. The toilet flushes and the water pressure was top notch. I will definitely be staying here on my next visit to Ireland. I would recommend to any visitors, family and strangers!
Lovely hotel, very clean and efficient. Room was beautiful, shower was amazing and spotless. Security was very good within the hotel, considering the concert and other events in Dublin which were on. Price was reasonable enough for Dublin, especially considering the eventful weekend that it was. Staff were outstanding, happy to help and very kind. Would definitely stay here again, so accessible and easy whilst attending the concert and easy to get in and out of the city centre too.
Location was perfect for city centre. Room was a good size, lovely and clean. House maids and all staff very friendly. I come to Ireland on a regular basis to meet family. I will definitely be staying here again. I stayed in a triple room with friends. They loved it too. My elderly parents also stayed in the hotel. They were very happy with the location and the facilities. I left some clothing behind. The hotel rang me and have kindly put them in the post.
Beautiful old Georgian hotel within walking distance of Dublin city centre, Temple Bar, and Connolly Train station. Very welcoming helpful staff, comfortable rooms, fabulous breakfast, and good Castle Vaults restaurant on the lower ground floor (we dined there on the first night). Exceptional staff service. If you’re wanting to stay in elegant historic hotel with original features, the Castle Hotel is very good choice for a city break.
Great location:
- not directly in the city centre but Dublin centre so easy to reach via bus or on foot
- close to many services (restaurants, pubs, supermarket, coffee shops...)
Nice staff, helpful when asked questions about the busses and the services in general.
Bar/restaurant directly below the hotel (not been there tough, I cannot review it)
Ideal for a weekend trip in the city.
Absolutely perfect location -- within a 5 minute walk to restaurants, post office, grocery store and just a short distance from the city center (w/ bus stop directly outside the door of the B&B) Mihaila (sp?) and son were very attentive; Mihaila spent time with me talking about how to get places and just general conversation about the area and Ireland in general.
Our room was fantastic, we had a studio with a cosy electric fireplace and large comfortable bed. The little kitchenette was very handy also!
The location was perfect, just outside the hustle and bustle of the city centre city but with bars and restaurants all within in the area for convenience! The Mespil will be the first hotel of choice upon return to Dublin!
The Academy is an ideal, affordable, luxurious hotel in the heart of Dublin City Centre. Walking distance to most transport options, buses, taxis, luas etc. The staff are very knowledgable and will go out of their way to help when needed. The rooms were spacious and affordable with nice finishing touches like local Bewleys tea bags and coffee in each room.
Albany House was so close to the center of the city and right next to a beautiful park. It was our first time in the city and we were able to walk everywhere right from the hotel. The staff was incredible and so friendly. They made our stay very warm and welcoming; and the breakfast was amazing! Will stay again next time in Ireland!
Best Hotel I've stayed in in Ireland hands down. I'm a very picky eater and the breakfast here was the only one I've been happy with from any hotel it had so much choice. Plus being so close to Heuston the zoo and city centre we find it so easy to get everywhere with the luas just across the road. I'll a hundred percent come back
My husband and I loved our stay at the Grafton hotel. The Manager Garrett assisted us with purchasing GAA football tickets and provided exceptional customer service. The room was spotless and the breakfast was one of the best we had during our three week vacation through Scotland and Ireland. I highly recommend!
The location was great. It was near a bus line and theatres too (if you have time for that). Breakfast was great with a big assortment. The hotel had character with it's windy halls and wood trim. We forgot the plugs for the UK/Ireland and they were available for sale in the lobby (coin machine).
A classic hotel. I really enjoyed the aura of the vintage hotel. Very well maintained with a classic feel. The breakfast is simply outstanding overlooking an Irish garden. Best stay on my 8 day tour of Ireland. Stuff made numerous calls to get me into a restaurant on a Sunday night.
Location is absolutely great, the hotel is placed next to the famous and fabulous pub with the same name, very near to the city centre and literally two steps from all the other nice places in Dublin. The room was very clean and quiet and the staff was extremely helpful and kind.
The ambiance and the hotel itself was awesome. Location to Dublin city Centre was great. Not far by Taxi. The food was good, but at the time we were there the bar was the only option but choices and service was very good.
The breakfast was one of the best I have received in any hotel in Ireland. Just brilliant and generous. Also the staff, through the entire hotel, could not have been friendlier. Really enjoyed my stay.
Such a great start to our stay in Dublin and Ireland. Helpful employees, bright and well designed surroundings, comfortable bed, and we loved exploring the neighborhood, St. Stephen’s Green!
The location was fantastic and the hotel is charming. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. By far, our favourite hotel to date in Ireland.
