A very well located hotel where you are greeted with a trendy lobby offering free coffee to guests. Very helpful staff speaking good English are ready to greet you. The hotel offered very stylish decor and when we got to our room we found an exceptionally spacious layout, the bed large and a full proper bathroom. A lovely view out across the city. This is really all you need from a hotel and we will be returning here on our next trip. Highly recommend.

The Castle grounds, museum of modern art, night lit botanical garden and the acquarium are excellent, and my kids also had a good time climbing the various rock formations/ sitting on a boatride to see the sea caves, and soaking in the sakura. (the latter 3 activities require a drive out of Kanazawa itself)
Make sure to visit the Aquarium! Family friendly, well curated, and very reasonably priced.
Be sure to eat at the seafood market - the sea urchin and unagi on offer will speak for itself

Kanazawa was brilliant, especially after Kyoto.
Kanazawa was brilliant, especially after Kyoto. While Kyoto was crowded and set-up to process lots and lots of people, here it was so different. The cherry blossom festival in the park was full of people, but it wasn't heaving, like so much of Kyoto, and it was mostly Japanese people. There's so much to see and do here! People were super friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The castle area is beautiful, especially at night. The various Chaya areas were pleasant too. We rented kimonos and went for a rickshaw tour around Kanazawa, which was a highlight of the whole trip.

We spent 4 days in Kanazawa.
We spent 4 days in Kanazawa.
Taking time to enjoy beautiful parks during cherry blossoms.
Parks looked like from the postcard, presenting top level of Japanese garden art. Including windy paths, streams, small bridges, bonzai trees. Elaborated to every detail.
City walls impressed me, and at well preserved samurai district we could find out how the life looked like 300-400 years ago.
If I will have more time, I will spend couple days more here.

If you love to go to traditional food markets, this is the hotel to book. You just have to cross the street to go to the market and you can practically eat all your meals there and the price is so reasonable. Caveat here, if you eat at the stalls, you will have to eat standing up in front of the stall but it is great that you can move from stall to stall to taste different foods. However, there are also restaurants inside.

Kanazawa is a great place to visit and to have as a central point to head out to other places. From Kanazawa we went out to Kurobe Gorge which is such beautiful country side. Hotel Intergate staff we excellent. Pretty much anything you needed, they would tend to. If going back to Kanazawa, I would stay here again.
Kanazawa as well as this hotel were an extremely nice surprise. The town itself was quite upscale and so was the hotel wedged in between designer shops on the main street. Extremely swanky entrance, very impressive. The hotel itself has a welcome drink and indeed the white wine was really nice. The room was quite small (if you are travelling with luggage) and did not haven USB ports although small rooms are a norm in Japan. However we stayed another night and took a bigger room where I had an amazing nights sleep. I liked this place very much
Amazing hotel to all regards. Located at the heart of Kanazawa in the Katamachi (Samourai) district, close to main avenue, area full of restaurants and at walking distance to castle, castle park, contemporary museum, and other areas of interest. Superb room design, large rooms and very pleasant bathrooms, toilets separated from shower (rare in Japan). Breakfast by far the best we had in Japan. Absolutely amazing to all regards, with spectacular attention to details. Nice and relaxing public bath. Impeccable room cleanliness. Bravo!
The Integrate in Kanazawa is clean, has lovely staff and is in a great location.
During our time there we were able to easily walk to the market, castle and gardens, old town and see all the main sights.
The hotel itself was very clean, had a good Japanese communal pool/bath (single sex only) and great extras such as snacks and drinks on offer throughout the day.
We hired electric bikes for a day, which was also fun to cycle further afield.
I'd happily recommend this hotel for all of the above reasons.
While the hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the JR station, it is right behind the Kanazawa Castle making it a prime location for sight-seeing. There are also lots of great places to eat at including Chocotea across the street for taiyaki and Poncco next door for tea during the day and drinks at night. We were able to see all the museums and explore Kanazawa by foot due to the great location. Room was average sized, dinos were a great touch, and it had what we needed.
Superb hospitality from the hotel staff, who were very responsive to my queries even before my arrival. This hotel seems to be rather new, so the room and hotel facilities were in very good condition. The train station was just a short 5 mins walk away, or 10 mins with a luggage. No worries if it rains - just take the underpass for Porte Kanazawa shopping mall and through Hotel Nikko which is directly opposite the hotel entrance :)
Beautiful hotel and amazing service. Natural stone and wood everywhere - every area was beautiful and relaxing, and smelled great. Room was beautiful and clean (again with natural stone and wood), they gave us pyjamas and free drinks, etc. Staff were all extremely polite and kind. The location was great, on a beautiful quiet street, and close to the train station. I highly recommend this hotel in Kanazawa.
The hotel was very elegant and our room was uniquely decorated with a Japanese theme which made it more special! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is conveniently located near Kanazawa Station which can be accessed either through an underground passage way or above ground. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
This hotel’s staff are so professional and their English is very good. We loved the comfortable pajamas, bed, linens, and dishes in the room. The free drinks in the fridge, the coffee, and all of the amenities were very much appreciated. The location is central to everything in Kanazawa. The breakfast buffet selections were top notch! Something for everyone!
The room was a very good size for the price and the bathroom was large and well equipped. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet at the hotel was terrific. It had a large range of both western and Japanese options to cater to everyone and although it was a bit of a walk from Kanazawa station, it was very close to many of the major attractions in Kanazawa.
Super confortable and new hotel in Kanazawa. The location is amazing, really close to the castle and city gardens, around the corner from the city market and walking ditance from the old town. The hotel iself is super beautiful with a garden in the middle. One of the best hotels I have stayed in Japan, with big bedroom.
Room was spacious compared to other hotels in Japan. Location was great. Close to the market. Self service washing & drying machines. Ice maker. The Loop Tourist bus stop was only 50 meters away opposite Starbucks. Kanazawa Station approximately 800-900 meters from hotel. Could open window. Separate toilet.
Absolutely phenomenal value for money. The best room we stayed in during our time in Japan. It was 2-3 times bigger than some other hotels. The location was extremely convenient with easy access to downtown, Omicho market, Kenroku-en garden and basically everything since Kanazawa is quite walking friendly.
Staff excellent, the hotel was clean and fancy, the buffet breakfast was delicious, and loved the communal bath. We enjoyed a free drink of matcha and Japanese sweets. Will definitely be back next time we go visit. It felt like we were at a 5 star hotel. Thanks Agora Kanazawa.
The hotel had a traditional Japanese style room with tatami mats and futons to sleep on. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided a lot of great information about things to do in Kanazawa and the location was central to everything we wanted to do.
The japanese breakfast is excellent. There are also lots of charging points for your electronic devices at the bedside. The room is also very clean. The hotel's onsen is a bonus. Omicho market is just across the street and kanazawa castle is a short walk away.
very convenient. Just a few minute walk from Kanazawa station, next to Nikko Kanazawa Hotel. Hotel is very new. Room is spacious compared to general Japanese hotels. I like that toilet is a separated section from shower. Breakfast buffet is delicious.
This small hotel was perfect for our stay in Kanazawa. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. It is near the key sites in the city and walking distance to Kanazawa Station.
The hotel was more comfy for a budget hotel than I expected. The natural hot spring was amazing, and the hotel is also just a few-minute walk from Kanazawa Station.
