Excellent location, within walking distance of Shinjuku, but also the two actual closest train stations are Nishishinjuku and Tochomae, which means you don't need to battle the chaos and crowds of the world's biggest train station if you don't want to! The amenities buffet in the lobby contains lovely skincare products and great hair oil too! Loved having the 7/11 in the basement, so on a rainy day, I didn't even leave the building before being equipped with an umbrella =)

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!
Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Centre near the waterfront, and savour the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.
Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.
For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Markets in the grounds sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.
Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

Tokyo SkyTree a bucket list visit
Take a trip on the Shinkansen bullet train
Lots of on-time public transport (Trains) available but can sometimes be a challenge to access the required destination platform. Lots of walking
We visited Japan during cherry blossom time. Will not visit Japan again during cherry blossom as the crowds are huge at tourist sites.

It was perfect.
It was perfect. We walked over 25K steps a day, we couldn't help ourselves just walking from neighbourhood to neighbourhood. So much to explore and if we caught trains everywhere we would have missed things in the back lanes. They were our favourites. Beautiful shops, food and different settings. Can't wait to go back and take our kids with us.

Very clean place, most of the locals were friendly and the only rude people we met were tourists. Train system is really great and cheap to use. Prices were very cheap for everything, about 5 times cheaper than Australia. If you like temples then you will be very happy with the place, just take a good pair of walking shoes. We used the Pas-mo card which was great to pay for the train and some items at the store. If you want to eat out, book before you leave your country as after dark you mostly cant get a table any where.

It is one if the best cities i ever visited. the people are great, friendly, and inviting. there is so much to do in Tokyo that 1 week is simply not enough. the food is great and the transportation is great. you can take the metro to anywhere you would like. it looks complicated and overwhelming but once you understand it, it would be really easy.
will definitely come back for another visit!

I am in love! This was my first time visiting Japan.
I am in love! This was my first time visiting Japan. I am now hooked and want to go back! The metro is not as scary as everyone makes it up to be and Tokyo is not any more crowded than any other touristy capital I've visited. Personally, I found Rome to be much more crowded. And I was traveling during the Golden Week. Amazing food - there honestly wasn't I didn't like. Great prices and lovely people. Whenever I stopped to check a map, there was always someone asking if I need any help or directions.
The fact that the hotel is five minutes from my office -- useful when a late finish is followed by a very early start the next day. That's the reason why I often stay in Shibuya hotels, having tried around a dozen so far. It's also close to Shibuya Station and Yoyogi Park -- more useful information for most reading this, I imagine! I'd previously eaten lunch in the hotel's restaurant (currently closed due to lack of guests, I assume) a few times and found it good, so gave the rooms a go this time. Oh dear...
The location was excellent - right out the front of the train station. It takes about 20 minutes by train to get into the central area of Tokyo e.g. Shibuya, Shinjuku area. There is good shopping and food options around the hotel. The bed was comfy, the room is modern and the hotel is a nice design. I enjoyed the onsen and liked that there was both an indoor and open-air one. There is a FamilyMart attached to the hotel which is great for snacks and cheap breakfast options.
This is a beautiful hotel close to Ginza and close to the Tsujiki outer market. The room design is beautiful. My husband and I had a smaller room which was a bit tight and our kids had a bigger room that was decent size, had a wooden tub in addition to the shower, etc. The cherry on top at this hotel though is the private bath that you can reserve for a fee. Tokyo is a busy place, and to be able to go in to a serene onsen-like bath in the evening was awesome.
The hotel has a large sign that makes it easy to see from the street. The beds are harder than western ones, which seems to be typical here at least in business hotels, but are still comfortable and large enough for two people. My husband is 6’ 1” and the bed was long enough for him. we really liked how clean the room was. The staff were extremely helpful and check in and check out both went smoothly. We would stay here again.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic capsule hotel in Shinjuku, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The sleek and modern design created a cool and hip atmosphere. The cleanliness of the facilities was impeccable, and the capsule itself was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Overall, this hotel provided a unique and enjoyable experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Shinjuku.
This was the first of various hotels my husband and I stayed while we were visiting Japan. APA Hotels became my go to and most sought out Hotel in this AMAZING country. Every employee is courteous, the rooms are very clean and stocked with ALL the toiletries needed. Do yourself a favor and do not add more weight to your luggage, ditch your dollar store toiletries because APA has them all! Cant wait to be back
Perfect location, 1 min walk to Oedo line Higashi Shinjuku, 12 min walk to JR Shinjuku, can easily get to anywhere by train or bus.
Also, the room is quite clean. Even besides a main road in downtown, the inside is quiet once the door is closed. The queen bed is soft.
I booked this room for my family to stay. They are satisfied with the fully equipped desgin. The hotel provide every utensils needed.
Great view of parks and Olympic stadiums from the 12th floor room with balcony. Excellent modern furnishings and hotel amenities (spa, fitness, laundry). Staff were very professional and helpful (we arrived after midnight and the front desk was still open to check us in). Quiet neighborhood with close access to subway and train stations making travel to Shibuya/Shinjuku/Meguro fast and easy.
Absolutely loved my stay in the capsule hotel. Very centrally located in Tokyo Shinjuku area. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, easy walking distance to Shinjuku station. The sleeping capsule was very comfortable and clean, I would definitely stay again. I'd recommend bringing earplugs as the rooms are not soundproof, though all the guests were very quiet and respectful of each other.
I told the hotel that it was my husband's birthday and they put a handwritten birthday card in the room, which we found really nice. The location is great, just few steps away from the driverless Yurikamome station and another station that is Shinjuku/Shibuya line. We also used the massage chair in the room a lot until our backs were tender 😆 it was worth it. AMAZING VIEW from our window.
Location. The Lift to Oedo line subway is just next to the hotel. Near Shinjuku Station, a station where you can get anywhere practically. Breakfast is quite a wide spread and plenty of sitting available. Self service free amenities at the lobby is a plus. Automated check in and check out machines make it very convenient to the guests. No queue.
Location was great. It was walking distance to the lively part of Shinjuku. The host was also very responsive and kind. Its also very easy to find. Once the host sends the exact address, you'll see that the entrance is actually part of an easily searchable hotel, which you'll have no problem looking for in google maps.
The room was always well kept. Location was fantastic, perfectly located 5 minutes from the nearest train station and an easy train ride to anywhere in Tokyo. We spent a time in Akihabara, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, and many other neighborhoods in Tokyo, and the location of the hotel made traveling a breeze.
Great location!
Shimokitazawa is a fabulous place to be. So many great Izakayas and shopping. Also really close to Shibuya and Shinjuku.
The hotel itself is cute and decently appointed. Good coffee sold downstairs. Staff is super helpful.
You can borrow bicycles!
Staff was very good and helpful, location of hotel is very good as i wanted. Tokyo station area is much better option for me, shinjuku and shibuya is very crowded and busy, only 10min walk to station for yamonate line and shinkansen. Overall, very good.
Great contemporary hotel with a cool vibe. Facilities excellent. Rooms "compact" for 2 as per Tokyo but still very workable. Good location near to park and Government Metropolitan Towers and out of the super intense Shinjuku centre.
Second time staying here as previously found this hotel when I was last in Tokyo in 2017
5 minute walk away from sunshine city 5 minute walk away to the nearest train station, easy access to shibuya & shinjuku you can’t go wrong
One of the best hotels we stayed in Tokyo, room is spacious, always well cleaned, breakfast was outstanding, location is perfect, near 3 metro stations, right inside the park
Hotel is located just across from the Metro.
Walking distance to Shinjuku Park.
Check-in was seamless, check-out even more so.
Room was a bit small, but very comfortable.
Excellent Shinjuku location and very easy to find. Room is of good space and size in comparison to other Tokyo central hotels. Staff are super friendly and accommodating.
